Anti-gay Singapore leaving LGBT people without a home

In Singapore, where gay sex is illegal, LGBT people are often pushed from family homes and do not qualify for government housing.

LGBT Singaporeans are struggling to find somewhere to live in one of the world’s most affluent cities, as Conservative attitudes centered on a heteronormative family can push LGBT Singaporeans from their family home.
What’s more, while Singapore’s government provides generous subsidised housing, it effectively excludes LGBT individuals.
