Ellie Goulding was part of a very small, select group of international artists who were invited by the Norwegian Nobel Peace Prize organization to perform at the annual musical tribute to the year’s Nobel Peace Prize Laureate this weekend.
Goulding performed alongside Janelle Monae, David Gray, Sugarland, Jill Scott, Bernhoft and the World Youth Choir at the Oslo Spektrum in front of 6000 invited guests including many European luminaries. Moments after her appearance, Goulding took to Twitter and called her performance at the Nobel Peace Prize concert one the "proudest moments" of her life.
The British songstress performed her cover of Elton John's "Your Song," which hit number one in the U.K. around this time last year, and her break out hit "Starry Eyed." Goulding's breath-taking rendition of "Your Song" was especially moving with its wonderful orchestral arrangement that fit the spirit of the night perfectly.
