This surprisingly cute, sweet and enjoyable film version of the popular TV cartoon will bring back all sorts of nostalgic memories of your childhood, especially since it is rendered in traditional 2D animation.

Doraemon, if you don't already know, is the big-headed bug-eyed blue-colored cat whose magical pouch is replete with gee-whiz gadgets and futuristic gizmos. As the faithful companion to a human boy named Nobita, Doraemon always manages to get Nobita out of trouble simply by pulling something out of his pouch.

Once again, Nobita the braggart has promised something to his friends which he shouldn't that he would find a dinosaur's egg and show them. Lo and behold, the boy actually finds one and uses one of Doraemon's thingamajigs to turn the fossilized egg into a real dinosaur. Everyone adores the little monster at first, but then trouble starts...

With a running time of close to 2 hours, Doraemon: Nobita's Dragon is a little on the long side for non-fans. But for diehard fans, that simply means there's more to enjoy.
