Free Download: Yeah Yeah Yeah's 'Zero' (N.A.S.A. Bloody Lobo Remix)

That's a photo of Yeah Yeah Yeah's Karen O and Brian Chase that I shot at the MTV Video Music Award in 2006.

Doesn't Karen O look completely flawless? Wow. That woman can do no wrong.

Check out an excellent, spaced out remix that hip hop collective N.A.S.A. (aka Squeak E. Clean and DJ Zego) produced of the group's fantastic new single "Zero." The song is taken taken from the group's brand-new album "It's Blitz." This new LP is one of the trio's most electronic, experimental effort to date, with their inimitable bombast flecked with swatches of synths and atmospheric effects. It's definitely one of my fave albums of the year so far.

According to the band, "It's Blitz!" was inspired by "the '70s disco collaborations between Italian producer Giorgio Moroder and R&B songstress Donna Summer, Joy Division, and, well, Karen O's love of dancing," and these all come through in their own YYY-warped way on the record.
