The occasionally funny but most predictable Underdog is about a bomb-sniffing beagle (voiced by Jason Lee) with a lousy sense of smell. Screwing up several police assignments, it ends up in an animal-testing laboratory where it is accidentally doused with chemicals that gives it superpowers.

Soon, our beagle finds itself being able to do things it never dreamed possible, like flying and throwing a man effortlessly across the room...

Underdog's plot is fairly ordinary, while the jokes range from the good to the very lame. We recommend this only to diehard lovers of dogs, since the beagle is really very cute.
