The group of Matthew Sherman, Cory Thomas and Wes Jones turn the original track (that Neon co-write with Sia) upside down and inside out with a relentless, grinding new dubstep groove, a few new dramatic soundboard effects and a vocal re-work that shed a whole new light on the single cut.
The guys of 1984 serve up a progressive dancefloor vibe that sounds a bit like what would happen when Neon met Imogen and Britney under the watchful eye of Benny Blanco and Dr Luke. Nicely done, guys. This is forward pop of the finest kind.
