The boy opening film is 'FRONT COVER' by Hong Kong director Raymond Yeung:
A gay Chinese American fashion stylist, who despises his ethnic heritage, is given an important assignment to style a patriotic actor from Beijing. After a rocky start, a friendship develops leading them to examine their beliefs and identities.
Front Cover is a bittersweet dramatic comedy, which looks at the Asian American experience with humour, irony and insight. The two main characters are the driving force of the story. Their dynamic relationship rests on the contrast between their differing attitudes and experiences.
However, Front Cover is predominantly a love story about two men, who despite their differences and prejudices, fall in love in New York.
'YES OR NO 2.5: LOVE YOU, BABY' will be the girl opening film this year:
'Yes or No 2.5' is a story about two best friends, Wine and Pii (starring Suppanad Jittaleela and Sunanta Yoonniyom), and their relationship with two girls, Pim and Fah (Pimpakan Bangchawong and Chansakorn Kittiwattanakorn).
Wine, a photographer, and Pii, a chef, are roommates. Their lives suddenly change when Pim and Fah move in next door. The two girls are Wine's junior back in the university, and Pim also happens to be Wine's first love, whom she still couldn't forget.
Upon meeting each other once again, Pim is now with her boyfriend. Wine is hurt to discover the news. Pii, wishing to save Wine from the heartache, tries to set her best friend up with Fah, Pim's roommate. However, things get complicated when Fah starts to develop feelings for Pii instead.
Where will their stories end when their relationship gets tangled up with one another? Find out the answers in Yes or No 2.5.

The girl closing film is Hollywood A list film, 'FREEHELD':
Ocean County, New Jersey Detective Lieutenant Laurel Hester (Moore) is diagnosed with terminal cancer. She shares her life with her loving partner Stacie (Page) a car mechanic who is much younger than her.
Laurel fearing for Stacie's future sought to leave all her benefits to her, only to be blocked by the county's governing body of Freeholders. With the help of an LGBT activist Steven (Carell) together they fight to have Laurel's pension benefits passed on to Stacie.
Based on a true story set between 2002 and 2006, FREEHELD is simply a beautiful love story. It's about a loving partnership that in the eyes of law isn't seen as equals. These unlikely heroes are thrown into a political battle to fight for all the couples after them.
