Having made a splash with its Song Kran and Fantasia parties, the third installment of the annual Fantasia event will be held on the beaches of Koh Samui on the Gulf of Thailand.
Organisers Sumet Srimuang and Tom Tan of gCircuit say their intention to move the Fantasia parties, which have traditionally been held in Bangkok, to Koh Samui is for the “moon, sea and sand” factor. “With so many big circuit events held in the big cities around Asia, gCircuit feels it’s time to bring freshness to the party scene, and what better way to do it than to move away from the concrete city walls and host an event under the moonlit beaches of Samui.”
Boy Soup, the welcome pool party at world famous Nikki Beach, will feature Grammy nominated DJ/Producer, Chris Cox, of Thunderpuss fame. Over The Moon, the main beach event at X2 resort will be helmed by superstar DJ Hector Fonseca. Opening sets for both nights will be played by DJ Shigeki. This event will feature the debuts of all three world-class DJs and with their history, mind-blowing music is guaranteed. Both parties will open till sunrise.
And as promised by Tom, the Singaporean co-organiser: “The finale song will coincide with the sunrise and bring a wonderful conclusion to the parties!”
Note from organisers: X2 resort, the official host hotel is already fully booked. gCircuit has just released its lineup of supporting hotels and the room rates offered start from as low as 1,500 Baht/night. The hotels being recommended range from the budget comfort to the high-end to cater to customer’s needs. Bangkok Airways offers special airfares on the gCircuit’s website.
