British dance pop outfit Woman E is about to blast onto the scene with their debut single "Few And Far Between," a delicious slice of synthastic disco pop that is bursting with confidence.
Women E is the teaming of Uwe Doll (keyboards, production, song-writing), Steve Rooney (drums) and spunky singer Ria Berlin, a born and bred Londoner to South African parents, who, being a mixed black/white couple, had to flee from the Apartheid regime.
When asked how to sum up their music, the group normally responds with some sort of juxtaposition: “decadence and decay” or “melancholy disco," but ultimately they say, "if you strip away all the smug adjectives, it's really just pop." And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Single will be released in the U.K. on September 27.
