Pink Dot, Singapore’s largest LGBT event, has faced a number of challenges in the run up to the 2017 event including a ban on foreign companies sponsoring the event and a ban on foreign people attending.

Regardless, the event will go ahead next week and Pink Dot’s ambassadors—singer Nathan Hartono, paralympic-swimmer Theresa Goh and actor Ebi Shankara—are geared up and ready to go.
