Video Premiere: Placebo ''Running Up That Hill''

Check out the new video for Placebo's soaring, rocked up cover of the Kate Bush' classic "Running Up That Hill."

The band teamed with video sharing website Motionbox to solicit home videos from fans to compile the video. Initially, the idea was that the Placebo guys would make an appearance in the video as well, but the footage they received was so good that the group decided to only include fan submissions. The result is a visually very compelling montage of fans that are completely in the moment of the song.

"Running Up That Hill" is taken from Placebo's new digital EP Covers that was released on iTunes in the U.K. last week. Covers includes Placebo's remakes of a bunch of classic tunes including of The Smiths' "Big Mouth Strikes Again," Robert Palmer's "Johnny And Mary" and even a cover of Boney M's disco hit "Daddy Cool."

In an interview with the fine folks at Fuse TV, openly bisexual frontman Brian Molko says that it would be cool if "a sort of homophobic, hip hop dude" would cover one of Placebo's songs in the future, or Shaggy who is Molko's "most hated recording artist."
