Listen to Kanye West "Stronger" (A-Trak Remix)

The more I hear it, the more I love it. Thank you Mr. A-Trak.

Montreal-born DJ A-Trak (aka Alain Macklovitch) has been Kanye West's official DJ since 2004. I shot that photo of Kanye West and A-Trak (spinning in the back with sunglasses) posted above at Coachella in 2006.

In an interview with Modern Fix, the turntablist talks about performing with West. "You can't go wrong. You're spoiled when you do a Kanye show. We could go on-stage and decide to break into a tap-dance number, and people still be thinking it's the best shit ever. So you have to have good standards for yourself, 'cause whatever you do at a Kanye show, people will cheer. It's almost for yourself that you want to make it a good show."

Touring with the rapper around the world, it should come as no surprise that A-Trak knows exactly what beat makes West tick. Check out his remix of Kanye's smash "Stronger" with that nagging, but super infectious Daft Punk sample.

Instead of taming the Kanye beast, A-Trak feeds him on this remix. He lets him wag his tail and makes him jump around to create a pumping electro sensation. I particularly like how A-Trak toys around with the Daft Punk sample and makes it burp and chirp. He kills it. This one is making me irregular. And I'm loving it.
