Download a guilt-free MP3 tune of the singer's cover of The Church's 1988 classic "Under The Milky Way," which was inspired by Amsterdam's De Melkweg, one of the city's most famous indie music venues.

The New Jersey singer explains in an interview with The Gum Drop that "Under Milky Way" has a very personal meaning. "This was my favorite song in high school. This radio station in my town, 106.3, used to play it all the time," Atkins says. "It was one of the first songs I learned how to play on the guitar too. After all these years it's still something I will listen to on repeat so I figured I should cover it for this EP. When we covered it, we tried to make it sound a little sweeter and darker. A bit evil but pretty. Which is what my band and I try to do with all my songs in general, I guess."

Other songs covered by Atkins on this digital EP are Nada Surf's "Inside Of Love," The Doors' "Crystal Ship" and Mama Cass Elliot's "Dream A Little Dream Of Me."
