Don't be too impressed by the ad's tagline that says this horror flick is produced by the same studio that made Shutter and Alone. Although the claim is true, Body #19 is nowhere near as good as those two films, which were written and directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun and Parkpoom Wongpoom.
Body #19 is instead directed by Paween Purikitpanya, a less experienced director who has some way to go before he can scare the socks off us.
The story revolves around Chon, a young man who keeps seeing visions of a terrifying woman in white. Whenever she appears before him in a dream, someone he knows gets killed. How can he stop the visions and the murders?
Body #19 has more twists and turns than your small intestines, but most of them are stolen from other famous horror movies like The Sixth Sense and The Exorcist. When the truth is revealed, you can't help but stifle a yawn. Awful, awful picture.
