Chick flick, anyone?
Emma Roberts (niece of the famous Julia Roberts) plays a rude and spoilt American girl who is sent to a girl's boarding school in England to learn the meaning of good conduct. There she has to abide by the school's strict rules and dress code.
But these aren't nearly as bad as the school's social hierarchy which puts Americans like Emma right at the bottom of the food chain. Through strength and determination, Emma breaks through the glass ceiling to become the most popular girl in school.
Directed by Nick Moore and written by Sophie Dahl (daughter of Roald Dahl), Wild Child is completely predictable fare.
