With the theme of 'Stand Up for Diversity', Hong Kong Pride Parade will kick off at 2pm this Saturday November 8th.

The parade begins at Victoria Park Causeway Bay and will continue down Hennessy Road to finish at Tamar Park in Admiralty. 

This years theme encourages action in the face of discrimination as well as a more unified LGBT equality movement. 

Organisers said: "Our theme this year also stands for respecting sexual minorities who are all unique in our community. Under the hegemony of heterosexual monogamy, let us comrades stand together to fight for diversity on this November 8!"

Participants are encouraged to wear orange and to meet HK Pride Parade's new mascot, Can Can who is determined to kick away discrimination.
