The notorious anti-gay We are against Pinkdot in Singapore (WAAPD) Facebook group was temporarily taken down earlier this month, Gay Star News reported.
Facebook removed the 7,000-member group—which opposes the gay pride event Pinkdot—for a day before stating that the act was done "in error" but that content in the group had "violated community standards."
A 60-year-old user, Roy Tan, has reportedly tried to get the group blocked multiple times in recent years, according to Yahoo News Singapore.
WAAPD classifies itself as "stand[ing] against the normalization of homosexuality within Singaporean society."
Azman Ivan Tan, who moderates the group, sent out a warning to members after WAAPD was up and running again.
"Please check your postings and be nice. Discuss on facts and not emotions," he wrote. "So check ourselves. Let this be a lesson/reminder that we need to be the bigger ones."
