This year’s Festival will be held at a boutique Cinema in the Silom area, close to the main Gay district. The Festival comes after Thailand’s Government announced late last year that it would bring forward legislation on same-sex partnerships and the Festival will include focus on both marriage equality and equal opportunity.
The organisers have planned that the Festival will explore the diverse facets of the Community through films, special events, talks, performances and a special art exhibition. It is going to be a safe place for discussions about important issues, such as marriage equality and equal opportunity. They are aiming to bring the LGBT Community and the world together to celebrate diversity, creativity and strength.
The schedule and venue are listed below and all films will have English subtitles (for those films not dubbed in English) and Thai subtitles.
