About 1200 party goers attended PT Foundation's (FTF) Pink Megaball in Kuala Lumpur last weekend, raising RM17,000 to fund their HIV/AIDS and sexuality programmes for marginalised groups in Malaysia as well as PTF's drop-in centre.

The event, dubbed Malaysia's gay party of the year, was supported not only by businesses, community/social groups, individuals but also Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, President of Malaysian AIDS Foundation and Chair of Malaysian AIDS Council.

She was also present at the party to witness a RM10,000 mock cheque from the Director of Backroom, Mr Kenny Lai, being presented to Dato Rosie Tan, Chair of the Board of Trustees of PTF.
