let's talk about sex!

Singapore AIDS group seeks men to talk about sex during its focus groups and interviews as part of the initial phase for its MSM outreach programme.

Action for AIDS, Singapore (AfA) needs your help to find out what happens on the bed (or wherever else you have sex) of guys in Singapore.

Before developing specific measures to deal with rising local HIV/STI statistics for men who have sex with men (MSM), AfA's MSM Programme is launching a research project into the knowledge, attitudes and behaviour of MSM in Singapore. The research project comprises focus group discussions, in-depth interviews, and a questionnaire survey.

The following categories of Asian MSM residing in Singapore are urgently needed for focus group discussions and interviews:

1. men below the age of 21
2. men who visit gay saunas/cruise clubs
3. young men in professional employment
4. married and/or bisexual and/or closeted men
5. men who have sex for money (male prostitutes, social escorts, masseurs who offer 'extras', etc.)
6. Chinese-speaking men who are not comfortable with using English

If you fall under any of these categories, please get in touch with Roger Winder at 9-6952144 or rwinder@pacific.net.sg as soon as possible. Efforts will be made to ensure anonymity and confidentiality.
