Contrary to numerous reports, Madonna will not play a lesbian in the new James Bond film Die Another Day, according to CommanderBond.Net.

Her role has been one of the most discussed roles for the film and how she would actually appear in the film has also been heavily speculated.
Madonna, 43, who plays a fencing instructor is rumoured to kiss Halle Berry, who plays Bond babe baddy, Jinx.
In addition to appearing in the movie, Madonna has written and will sing the film's title song. She will join the ranks of esteemed recording artists who have sung Bond themes, such as Sheryl Crow (Tomorrow Never Dies), Garbage (The World Is Not Enough), Tina Turner (GoldenEye), Paul McCartney (Live And Let Die), Duran Duran, (A View To A Kill), Shirley Bassey, (Diamonds Are Forever), Tom Jones (Thunderball), and Carly Simon (Nobody Does It Better from The Spy Who Loved Me), among others.
Die Another Day will open worldwide in late November.
