For sheer entertainment, catch the sweet and charming French comedy Priceless (Hors de Prix). The lead characters may be a prostitute and a gigolo, but you would be surprised at how funny and adorable this movie makes them out to be. Remember Pretty Woman? Uh-huh, kinda like that...

It stars the lovely Audrey Tautou � always a pleasure to watch � as a high-class prostitute who sleeps with much older men for money. One day, she meets her match in the form of an innocent waiter (Gad Elmaleh), who is just about to discover the world of male prostitution quite by accident. Although he falls in love with Audrey, she refuses to give in to him because he is not as rich as the sugar daddies she dates. But of course, as romantic trajectories would have it, the two eventually fall into each other's arms.

The two lead actors in this film are completely adorable. Although neither of them are what you would call gorgeous, they both have loveable and guileless personalities that endear them to you instantly. Two hours with them are far more agreeable than one hour with, we suspect, Paris Hilton or Tom Cruise.

Written and directed Pierre Salvadori, Priceless is also filled with genuinely charming moments that are guaranteed to make you smile or chuckle. For easy, crowd-pleasing entertainment, pick Priceless.
