Produced by ArjanWrites.com reader Monsieur Adi, "Real Life" is a sleek and stylish blend of electronica, pop and dance featuring an elegant, clean beat, sidechained strings and synths, and Noah's vocodered vocals. Interestingly, the production also incorporates some subtle world beat instrumentation, which gives the track a very organic, lasting quality.
"'Real Life' is about moving beyond the yearning for a better life, and
shaping up and taking control," Noah writes me. "The yearning is so strong that it
renders you unable to move - unable to take the first step. It
was like the voice in your head repeating over and over and over again,
and I decided to make it a lightly computerized voice because I felt
like it was talking to me as I sat in front of it, unable to work."
Look out for Noah's debut on Technofavrik Records on March 10 in iTunes stores around the world. Love to hear what you think! Share it with the ArjanWrites.com Social. (And kudos for the incredible album art. Wow.)
