Free Download: Hercules & Love Affair 'Hercules' Theme'

In Greek mythology, Hercules is considered one of the most adventurous and forward-thinking characters. "He is an example of action and masculinity, and thus embodies characteristics such as great strength, great courage, and great appetites, including erotic adventures," according to Wikipedia.

Emerging act Hercules & Love Affair is similarly adventurous and open-minded in their musical endeavors. The duo is the brainchild of NYC resident and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Butler. His music is best described as an eclectic fusion of pop, electronica and live instrumentation that is deeply rooted in disco. "I always say it's a rhythmic, artsy kind
of pop music," explains Butler in a recent interview with Fact Magazine.

The group's debut was produced by Butler together with Tim Goldsworthy and will be released on DFA Records this month. The album includes 5 tracks that feature Butler's pal Antony Hegarty on vocals. Click on the link below to download a guilt-free MP3 of the group's "Hercules' Theme."
