DJ/producers Alex Metric and Steve Angello have enlisted none other than indie legend Ian Brown as the vocalist on the hearty new version of their massive dance tune "Open Your Eyes."

This new vocal version will be released on May 1 in the U.K. through Virgin Records and follows the release of the instrumental version that already has hit high rotation with tastemaking DJs like Pete Tong, Zane Lowe and Annie Mac.

The poppier leanings of "Open Your Eyes" mark an exciting new direction for Alex Metric. He has been blazing a trail over the last couple of years with his "glitchy" productions, innovatively combining his love of 80s synth-pop, filter disco, big beat and indie. His collaborator, Steve Angello, is already a highly regarded DJ and producer as part of the Swedish House Mafia.

Alex Metric will release an album, also entitled 'Open Your Eyes', later in the summer and will feature original material, remixes and productions. Loving this track.
