Cahill leaves the original track pretty much intact, but he adds an anthemic new groove and heaps of positive energy to the song. Cahill's revamp perfectly accentuates Green's intense delivery and Emeli Sande's larger than life vocals that are instantly uplifting.
On the song, the Hackney rapper opens up and speaks specifically about the death of his father who committed suicide when he was 18 years old. The rapper had not been in touch with his dad for six years prior to his passing. Green tries to come to grips with his conflicting emotions of anger, guilt and disappointment on this new single.
Green raps, "You were never kin to me. Family is something you've never been to me. As a kid I looked up to you. Only thing was I never saw enough of you. I wonder what I did to you to make you hate me. I ain't censoring myself for nobody. I'm the only thing I can be. All that is good, all that is bad, all that is me."
