The organising team of Pink Dot has released the first line-up of artists for the concert, featuring some of Hong Kong's most recognised names, including: Lowell Lo, Anthony Wong, Denise Ho, Emam Lam, Ellen Loo, Yoyo Sham, Joyce Cheng, Jing Wong, TangYi, MastaMic, GDJYB, and Subyub Lee.
The group of brilliantly talented singer-songwriters and performers will share their love of music as Pink Dot's participants come together to embrace differences and celebrate diversity on September 20th at Tamar Park.
Hong Kong film and television star and this year's ambassador Gregory Wong said, "I am happy to be a part of Pink Dot Hong Kong. I have learned that Pink Dot is held in many other cities and it shows that this is a global concept so I hope to see everyone at Pink Dot!"
"We are very excited that once again so many artists are participating in the free concert at Pink Dot", says Brian Leung, a Co-Director of the project in 2015. "We are also very touched that they will perform in the name of the freedom to love and in support of the LGBTI community".
The event will be held in the afternoon of Sunday, 20th September on the sprawling green lawns of Tamar Park in Admiralty with picturesque views of the Victoria Harbour. To symbolise love and in order to create high visual impact, participants will be encouraged to wear pink.
In 2015, the "Love Is Love" theme will be integrated throughout the Pink Dot programme, with an outdoor picnic and activities for all ages including bouncing castles, face and henna painting, tarot reading, interactive games, craft workshops, free food and drinks until stocks last and much more.
