Singaporean pop star Wils is confirmed to sing the US national anthem at this year’s Los Angeles Dodger’s Annual LGBTQ Night at Dodger’s Stadium.
Wils has talked about how his decision to publicly discuss his sexuality as a gay man led to him being dropped by his record label.
This will be the ninth annual Pride Night hosted by Dodger's Stadium. On 3 June, Wils will sing The Star-Spangled Banner for a crowd of thousands - his biggest crowd since his closeted days performing in Singapore.
It was only after his move to Los Angeles that Wils found the confidence to be more open about his sexuality.
