At this Pirate's Paradise Pool Party co-hosted by Singapore's Happy club spun by the fabulous DJ Severino from London, party queens jumped from their lazy lounge chairs to join the crowd.
Flagging is probably one of those things that is easy to learn but difficult to perfect. That's why the flaggers Xavier and Philip were there to give Nation partygoers a workshop. Those who were originally lounging by the pool were lured to join the workshop as the flaggers would give each and every one a very attentive tutorial. How attentive? How about wrapping you with those arms and that chest touching your back?
While the beginners were practicing their flag waving skills, master flaggers Xavier and Philip showed a perfect display of their craft. Seeing how they taught party queens how to flag in a skin-to-skin tutorial, I wished that I didn't have to take photographs and be part of the lucky ones!
After an hour of practice, everyone had become an expert and couldn't wait to put their skills to the test. The whole swimming pool became a flagging frenzy and, with scores of colourful flags synchronising to the music, the party turned into a feast for the eyes. DJ Severino manipulated the beats by spinning the best house music Nation.VI party queens had yet experienced.
