Stream Pleasure ''Out Of Love''

Norwegian producer Fred Ball collaborates with Suede's lead singer Brett Anderson on his solo debut Pleasure.

Pleasure is the catchy electro-synth-disco project of Norwegian producer Fred Ball. He moved to London in the late nineties where he worked on his first album that he named "Pleasure" as well. The record became popular in different parts of Europe mainly because of the eclectic group of artists that contributed their vocals, including Justine Frischmann and Cerys Matthew.

Over the past year, Ball has been working with Suede's lead singer Brett Anderson on his solo debut. But in the meantime, he has found time to finish a second Pleasure record that he appropriately titled "Pleasure 2." The disc was released by Electric Silk/EMI Sweden earlier this month.

Anderson is also featured on the album. He sings lead vocals on the trippy "Back To You" that reminds me of David Bowie for some reason.

My favorite track on the album is the single "Out Of Love." The song simply follows the Pleasure principle of layering a simple electro arrangement, kicky rhythm guitar and sugary sweet vocals that lead from a subtle verse to a glorious chorus. Ball even threw in some cow bells at the end. (Click here to download Pleasure's new album and "Out Of Love" on 7Digital in WMA format.)
