Who'd ever think that Rufus Wainwright would star in a "dance" video?
Check out the dandy-licious video for the crooner's new single "Rules & Regulations," a song that was inspired by an image of an out-of-shape guy watching the
Olympics.
The video features some of the finest moustaches in music video history, long johns, Busby Berkeley-esque dancing and a delighful cup of tea. Set in an Edwardian gentleman's club, the video was directed by Petro Papahadjopoulos who is mostly known for designing the tour visual for Kelly Clarkson and Madonna.
The production of the video was in hands of the same people that most recently oversaw the making of new videos for Mark Ronson and Chris Cornell.
