Video Premiere: Young Love ''Find A New Way''

After the lukewarm reception of Young Love's excellent debut album Too Young To Fight It; in January, the big and mighty record label has decided to put out a new video for his kicky dance rock anthem "Find A New Way."

Let's hope this will jumpstart momentum for the band to get the break they deserve.

Young Love is fronted by singer Dan Keyes, a 24-year-old, 6'6ft tall singer from the middle of Texas. He moved to New York in 2004 to pursue a career in music. In between waiting tables in New York's hip West Village and working at American Apparel during the day, he recorded some demo tracks that got him noticed by DJs and other tastemakers across the city. He finally scored a hot brunch date with rapper Jay-Z, also President and CEO of Island/Def Jam Records Jay-Z, who signed him to his label. Young Love spent most of last year recording their debut in Bath, England.

Keyes told me that Jay-Z only had one question for him before he gave him the contract to sign. "He was like 'Are you ready? Are you the truth?,'" he tells me. "And I was like "Yeah." And I signed with him. He is super cool."

This is second video that was shot for " Find A New Way." It is a low-budget effort, but it looks stylish, cool and it shows Dan Keyes for the first time with his shirt off. If the Americans don't want him, this might well be the video that gets people's attention overseas. It's the synths that will do it
