Not Only Voices spoke to Kath Khangpiboon—a trans woman and one of the co-founders of the Thai Transgender Alliance.

In there interview, she challenged the perception that Thailand is a perfect place for trans persons and explained how they still face discrimination at educational settings and high rates of unemployment.

Kath wants to be legally recognised as a woman and fights for a Gender Identity Law to be adopted by the country and says she feels free to express her identity and is very thankful to her family for the continuous support during her transitioning process.
