Cyndi Lauper talks about True Colors Tour

Watch Cyndi Lauper's acoustic performance of her 1986 smash "True Colors" and interview about her upcoming tour that brings together some of today's most popular gay and lesbian artists.

Check out Cyndi Lauper's acoustic performance of her 1986 smash "True Colors" at the Today Show earlier this month. The singer was also interviewed by Meredith Vieira about her upcoming True Colors Tour that brings together some of today's most popular gay and lesbian artists on one stage. The concert series will benefit the Human Right Campaigns, a Washington DC lobby organization that seeks to improve the life of GLBT Americans by advocating equal rights and benefits. Get your ticket for a show near you here.

The tour will include Lauper, Erasure, Dresden Dolls and special guests like Rufus Wainwright and The Gossip. Arjanwrites.com will be a guest when the True Colors Tour kicks off in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 8. Of course, I will make sure to get you all the scoop.

In the meantime, watch Cyndi Lauper's performance of "True Colors" that still manages to give me the chills. I'm meeting Lauper this week to chat about the True Colors Tour so if you have any questions you'd like me to include, feel free to let me know.
