Dragon Hunters

Director: Guillaime Ivernel and Arthur Qwak

Starring: Voices of Forest Whitaker, Rob Paulsen, Nick Jameson

Release: 2008-11-04

Despite the childish-sounding title, Dragon Hunters is a good animation that will please kids and adults alike. And no, it isn't by Pixar or Dreamworks or WB. Instead, it's made in France and has been dubbed in English for English-speaking audiences. Viva la difference!

The story is set in a world filled with strange characters and creatures; a world where dragons are the most menacing creatures alive, capable of destroying all that is wonderful and beautiful in the world. When a pair of half-hearted dragon hunters meets a fanciful little girl, they end up traveling to the end of world to kill the most dangerous and notorious dragon alive…

Directed by Frenchmen Guillaime Ivernel and Arthur Qwak, Dragon Hunters boast rich visuals, settings, characters and storyline. Considering that it is made for a fraction of the price of typical Hollywood cartoons, we're doubly impressed by this animated work for its vivid sense of imagination and tip-top animation.

A must-see for cartoon fans.
