This lesbo-erotic horror film may or may not please lesbian viewers. On the one hand, it stars the fabulous openly-lesbian actress Heather Matarazzo and its plot touches on the lesbian attraction between the lead character (Lauren German) and a gorgeous female nude model (Vera Jordanova).
On the other hand, the gruesome scenes of torture in this film are extremely disturbing be it for dykes, gays, trannies or even straight people. Traditionally, these sorts of films tend to attract straight Western teenage boys and no one else. If you're still going to see it, don't eat an hour before you watch it.
In this sequel to the successful Hostel (2005), Heather plays an American art student travelling through Europe with her girlfriends (babes Lauren German and Bijou Phillips). On the train to Prague, Lauren notices the gorgeous female nude model (Vera Jordanova) from their life-drawing class. The two make heavy eye contact and eventually start talking.
The nude model tells the girls about a luxurious hotsprings spa in Slovakia that she is going to, and the girls decide to skip Prague and follow her instead. Of course, this turns out to be a disastrous mistake, as the girls soon find themselves bound, gagged and tortured to near death...
Written and directed by Eli Roth again, Hostel: Part II is filled with bloody and intense scenes of torture. It is somewhat less violent than the first film perhaps because the torture subjects here are mostly women instead of men. But there are still some gruesome scenes that'll make your head spin and your stomach turn.
If you're a lesbian gorehound, you'll love this to death.
