The Fun Stage announced that its earlier planned lecture series has been cancelled due to an unsuccessful attempt to obtain a PELU licence. Updated Mar 8, 2004 Organised in conjunction with Lovers' Words, a Mandarin play about a boy and a girl falling in love in a homosexual society, The Fun Stage is presenting a series of talks on gay literature. Lovers' Words, which is written by Taiwanese playwright Chiu An Chen and directed by Richard Chua, will be performed at the Esplanade Theatre Studio from April 16-18. The play stars Willy Lau (Light Years 1 and 2; Unbeatables 3), Scott Lei (Mad Pheonix, Beautiful Thing), Jaff Fong (MTV Clothes Man Winner), Sabrina C (also seen in Fridae Presents) and Sarah Tng.
