bangkok police approve gay parade

Bangkok district police offices have given approval (at last) for the Bangkok Gay Festival parade on Sunday at 18:00.

A strict dress code will be applied to all participants in this year's parade. Nudity and inappropriate behaviour of any kind will not be allowed. Organisations and businesses that want to participate in the parade must obtain authorisation from parade organisers first. Contact Lukas at the Tarntawan Place Hotel: 02-238-2620. Organizers will give an identification sticker to authorized groups.

There will be a "mini-parade" in Lumpini Park on Sunday at 13:00. Anyone may join. The same dress code will apply.
