Watch: 'Stories of Being Me' short films explore life for LGBTIs in Asia

A short film depicting 26 year-old Darius Zee's life in Singapore, has been launched by Be Change. It is the first of seven 'Stories of Being Me' productions exploring LGBTI life in Asia.

Watch Darius Zee present and explore his thoughts about homosexuality in Singapore. The young filmmaker discusses the fact that homosexuality is still a crime in the city and how this has impacted his life and dreams. He also highlights the positive effect that the Pink Dot event is having on the city.

Stories of Being Me is championed by B-Change Foundation. The Philippines-Based organised joined a number of other charities in Asia to offer backing to young filmmakers for projects exploring LGBTI issues in their country. Seven young LGBTI filmmakers in Cambodia, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Nepal and Singapore were granted funding.
