A secretly snapped photo of a gay couple kissing on Singapore’s subway has gone viral and sparked an anti-gay campaign against the couple.
A Singapore woman, known only as Melinda, took the photo and posted it alongside a hate-filled rant in which she said “What if my children saw this and asked ‘Mummy, why are the two men kissing?’”
She wrote:
“Would I have to answer "It's the same as normal love and marriage. The only difference is that one man opens his buttocks for the other man to put his private part inside but in the end, no babies come out. They only get AIDS”?!”
One half of the couple, Australian man Peter Eggenhuizen, told Star Observer that he felt mortified and violated to see the image and article go viral.
“To rub salt into the would, the author went on to attack my act of love and affection,” Eggenhuizen said. “But I feel the need to rise above it and raise awareness that this is unacceptable.”

dam people of the world we should do the same if we see straight kiss
F.......ken dam idiots
"It doesn't have any effect on your life. What do you care? People try to talk about it like it's a social issue. Like when you see someone stand up on a talk show and say "How am I supposed to explain to my child that two men are getting married"....
I dunno, it's your shitty kid, you fuckin' tell 'em. Why is that anyone else's problem? Two guys are in love but they can't get married because you don't want to talk to your ugly child for fuckin' five minutes?" Louis C.K.
This kind of thing happens too often and sickens me. She should be telling her kids that this is love and its OK for 2 people no matter who they are. Pathetic.
I don't like to see heterosexual people kissing passionately in public either. A "goodbye" or hello kiss is fine for me. I had a couple kissing passionately beside me on an commercial flight one time and I was disgusted by it... it was not the time or place for it.
A split poll? Gosh.
Good luck in finding her post.
ps try the link!
Singaporeans like concentration camps..that's why she reacted that way!
I can imagine that she has got lack of any knowledge about concentration camps on Java and Europe..if so and the Singaporean government still shows lack of this acknowledgement of existence of concentration camps...you may fill it your self now the consequences...We only have to ask Mayor of Rotterdam Aboutaleb to request for meanings, who is in charge for mingling Singaporean stance to Rotterdam City..what he makes out of this!
Most people told that, are the people who're NOT HAPPY with themselves,
Who should I care if I want to kiss my bf? At lease I have common sense not to do it in kindergarten school or in the temple.
So, who's having less common sense here? A women who took the photo of the couple, or the couple that have not ask her permission to kiss?
Gay men cruising in and around public toilets..... Day or night.
A quick peck on the lips or cheek is fine in my book. Long lingering tongue sandwiches.... gay or straight.. I'd rather not see it. But that's my view and I'd probably only go so far as tut loudly or let out a sigh, or proclaim, "phwoar!!" to embarrass them.
"Get a room!" is another apt remark.
There's one sure way not to feel "mortified and violated".
Our laws for acceptance are already established here.
Society as a whole has to address these issues with education and social interaction.
There is no place for hate and bigotry of this sort in the world.
Stop allowing any and all tax exemptions for Religion organizations. If they want to dabble in politics, then they will have to pay as everyone else.
are born that way. If ask them to love a person of the same sex they will not do it. They will feel miserable and unacceptable, not joy and happiness. It is the same for gays. Why would you want to make others unhappy. No amount of medical treatment or otherwise will change the situation. It is not wrong for 2 persons to love one another irregardless of their sex. It is
their business not yours. If you don't like it, simply don't it yourself. The world is full of variety and colours. Live and let live.
