It's only two episodes in, but Pangina Heals is consistently demonstrating why she's one of the frontrunners to take the crown in the first ever series of Drag Race UK versus The World.
Although an internationally renowned drag artist, and the host of Drag Race Thailand, in many ways Pangina was a bit of a dark horse coming into this competiiton. Would she be able to make the transition from host to contestant? Would she be able to adapt her skills to the challenges presented by the show? So far, the answer has been a resounding yes.
Her appearance as a contestant on the franchise has also exposed her to some of the toxicity associated with the Drag Race fandom. Her decision to eliminate fellow contestant Lemon in Episode 1 resulted in a wave of social media abuse - including racism and death threats.
However, Pangina is no shrinking violet - going on the front foot on her social media accounts, calling out the abuse and making it clear that she is strong enough to withstand anything that is thrown at her.
Can she go all the way?
Our fingers are crossed that Pangina will be able to snatch the crown, but this is reality TV so anything is possible. In the meantime, we're loving having as much Pangina as possible on our screens.
