This has generated significant online interest in South Korea, a country where being LGBT is still a huge taboo and where more than 200,000 people signed a petition opposing the annual Pride parade in the capital Seoul this year. South Korea has very few celebrities actively supporting the LGBT Community, with notable and important exceptions such as K-Pop star Jo Kwon’s support last month for South Korea's LGBT Community.
