Their new single "Day Glo" is best described as a sonic milkshake, an unapologetic brew of pop, rock, disco and '80s synth pop. "We're widescreen," explains Jarvis Anderson, lead vocalist and producer for Iglu and Hartly. "It's like that scene in The Wizard Of Oz when the picture flips from black and white into color."
"Day Glo" is taken from the group's debut album, titled "And Then Boom," that will be released on Universal Republic next month. "We want people to listen to our record, be inspired, look inside themselves and work out how they can dominate the world in their own unique way," says Jarvis. "We're about smashing down barriers."
