Josh Cocktail "Fire"

Talented newcomer Josh Cocktail sings his heart out on his brand-new ditty "Fire," a heartfelt ballad about a love lost that neatly showcases his warming, soulful vocals.

"These memories and little lies, I went to look for something already by my side (. . .) The fire's still burning, my love is alive," Cocktail confesses.Inspired by artists like Amos Lee, the Los Angeles crooner explains in his bio that he was raised in a musical family, which helped him to explore and discover his own musical talents. "I grew up listening to musicians who had real soul deep in their voice," Josh says. "I knew when I started singing that would be the path that I would take. You can't fake soul - you either have it in you or you don't."

After recording several acoustic home videos that he shared on YouTube, Josh quickly established a loyal fan base. In the past four years, he has been collaborating with industry veterans like Mic Murphy (from '80s pop R&B outfit The System) and Jon Rifkind to craft a distinct sound of his own. "Fire" and the new "Frequent Flier" are excellent examples of that. Cocktail puts out a hit-savvy sound that has massive potential to break through the clutter and be staple on top 40 radio.
