Actress Anne Heche has gave birth to a baby boy last Saturday at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles, according to media reports.

Homer Heche Laffoon, who weighed 7 pounds at birth, is the first child for Heche and husband Coleman Laffoon.

The 32-year-old actress married her cameraman husband in September last year after ending a highly publicised relationship with comedienne Ellen DeGeneres.

The couple met while working on a documentary about DeGeneres last year.

Heche's fans were reportedly shocked when she married Laffoon, 27, and announced days later that she was three months pregnant.

After her break up with DeGeneres in August 2000, she was found wandering near a farmhouse in Fresno, apparently confused and distraught.

Heche later told ABC's Barbara Walters in an 20/20 interview that she was insane throughout her three-year relationship with DeGeneres and believed she had a split personality named "Celestia," who had come from another planet. She also added that she felt insane almost all her life, ever since she was sexually abused by her father.

Fans can now pick up her autobiography, Call Me Crazy which details her relationship with DeGeneres, and life before and after DeGeneres.
