Malaysia's Pink Triangle Foundation, now known as PT Foundation is organising "The Pink Megaball" at The Backroom on 19 April 2002.

The organisers hope to not only create community awareness of the foundation but also to raise funds to run HIV/AIDS awareness and sexuality programmes for the gay and lesbian community.

The highlight of the evening will be the "Pink Show" featuring selected talents of the community volunteers, with guest appearances by local celebrities. The programme line-up is being finalized and rehearsals have started.

The organisers hope to attract at least 1000 party-goers and raise at least RM30,000 from the event through donor collections and sponsorships. The price of the tickets has yet to be confirmed.
