A 38-year-old man has pled guilty to eight counts of sexual penetration with boys under the age of 16 in Singapore, the Straits Times reported.
Each count comes with a prison sentence of up to 10 years, as well as a fine.
Other charges—including nearly 70 counts of commercial sex and the possession of hundreds of “obscene” films—will be considered during the sentencing of the man, known as Soffiyan Hamzah.
An auditor with Singapore’s Land Transport Authority, Hamzah reportedly met the boys in question online, using the Facebook name “ItsmeDeedeeYourfrenlyfren.” His profile reportedly stated that he was gay and would pay to fellate others.
The Straits Times added that Hamzah is believed to have paid an estimated 10 boys around USD $75 to perform oral sex on them in public toilets. One of the boys, a 15-year-old, told a teacher about his two encounters with Hamzah in March, and the authorities arrested him days later.
The case will continue in early January 2018.
