The 11th Hour is the latest eco-documentary detailing the impending demise of our world. Directed by sisters Nadia Conners and Leila Conners Petersen, it paints a shockingly grim picture of what the world could look like if we don't change our way of life more shocking, in fact, than Al Gore's portrait.
Narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio, as he gazes thoughtfully at the sea or the sky, The 11th Hour offers many engaging interviews with experts who speak passionately on global warming and give suggestions on how to slow down the process.
Like An Inconvenient Truth, this is just the kind of timely movie the world needs to shake off the widespread apathy and indifference. Now if only someone could make an equally influential documentary on gay rights...
