Heads We Dance are Bex (drums), Yoni (synths), Tom (bass) and Pierre (vocals). The group took their name from Kate Bush'
"Heads We're Dancing" a song taken from her 1989 album "Sensual
World." Inspired by electronic music of the past, the four also find inspiration in film, literature and the
idiosyncrasies of today's technology-driven society. Early sci-fi
visions of Metropolis, books by Aldous Huxley and Philip K Dick, and a
fascination with the internet complete their musical aesthetic.
"Love In The Digital" is one of three new tracks that Gorgerly produced for the band. Clearly inspired by early '80'synth pop, it is an excellent pop track with its infectious chorus, Pierre's idiosyncratic vocals and a middle eight that is major.
Download a guilt-free copy of the single below. Also, listen to "Work It Out" and "You Are Never Alone With Model 21" on the group's MySpace page. (Thanks to the group for allowing me to share their music.)
