One of the marketing tie-ins I'm really anxious to hear is Janelle Monae's teaming with Fall Out Boy for Coca-Cola's new Open Happiness campaign. The song plus commercial will hit global TV screens in March. So thrilled for Janelle to get such a big push.
Another very interesting partnership is Groove Armada's collaboration with Bacardi. As part of the one-year deal with Bacardi B-Live, the beverage firm's
global music platform, Groove Armada will perform live at various
Bacardi-branded events and put out some exclusive track through the B-Live website.
The first track to hit the mighty internet is the excellent "Go" that shows off the genius soundboard skills of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay. It is eclectic dance pop with a pulsing beat, a kicky horn section and soulful, throwback vocals. Shimmering and chic.
